National Read a Book Day 2012
Today is September 6th National Read a Book Day 2012.
Celebrate this special day by…you guessed it…reading a book!
There are so many different possibilities when it comes to reading a book now a days. Of course there is still your local library with many services to choose from. Books online are also available through your local library or on the internet. Today there are several devices that are called eReader’s. The most popular device is the Kindle. There are a few different variations of the Kindle. You can purchase, lend, gift, rent, borrow, or sample Kindle ebooks and more content for your Kindle device or free Kindle reading application.
Kindle ebooks can be loaned to another reader for a period of 14 days. The borrower does not need to own a Kindle– Kindle ebooks can also be read using a free Kindle reading application for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android devices. Not all ebooks are lendable — it is up to the publisher or rights holder to determine which titles are eligible for lending. The lender will not be able to read the ebook during the loan period. eBooks can only be loaned once, and subscription content is not currently available for lending.
