La Penúltima! It’s National Hot Toddy Day.

There’s a national holiday for everything it seems, and today, we celebrate the Hot Toddy! The holidays are over and winter is starting. Unfortunately with winter comes the cold and flu season.
A Hot Toddy is a cocktail most often consumed during colder months, a perfect way to warm up on a cold winter day, and believed to relieve cold and flu symptoms. The traditional Hot Toddy is made with a mix of honey, lemon, hot water, and the spirit of your choice (usually whiskey, brandy, or rum). Of course, we’ve come a long way since then, with mixologists creating their own concoctions adding in everything from cinnamon sticks and cloves, to tea infusions and homemade whipped creams.
We all know it’s freezing out and having a Hot Toddy is the perfect way to warm up on a cold winter day.
Do yourself a favor and quench your Hot Toddy craving today.
La Penúltima! Meaning: “the one before the last one”

Maybe an Irish coffee before the day is over.
That’s good too.
