The hunt is on…..

Just couldn’t let these go by without sharing them with all of you.

These are free ebooks from Amazon. They don’t stay free for very long, get them before they’re gone.

If you don’t have a tablet you can download the kindle app to your computer to be able to read ebooks.

These 2 books should help with Halloween. I’ll be looking for Thanksgiving and Christmas to share as well.

Halloween party ideas

Holiday time is almost upon us. Halloween will be here before you know it. Start planning now!

When you want to host a memorable Halloween Party, there are several items that must not be omitted from your list of Halloween Party ideas.
Halloween party ideas means the plans outlined for the social gathering at the celebration of Halloween that will make it a wonderful occasion of pleasure and amusement.
Below are some Halloween party ideas.
Home Decorations: There should be Halloween decorations lining up to the front-door, decorations should also adorn the walls, the ceiling, and even on the floor. The windows should have spooky items to match.

Costumes: You need to decide the type of Halloween costume to wear. What kind of costume for the kids? Are you shopping downtown or online? What about accessories and the about the hairstyle?

Masks: There are an abundance of Halloween masks to choose from. For adults, the more scary, the better.

Pumpkin Carved into a jack-o-lantern: This is one of the most important aspects of the Halloween. Get Free Shipping on orders $85+ using coupon code WSJK9H. ALWAYS check the clearance links fr decorations and costumes.

Food/Treats: If you are pressed for time you can make your party a potluck or start preparing days in advance and freeze anything you can until the party. The menu should always include 4 to 5 appetizers a couple of cold salads and a couple of desserts. Desserts and cold salads can be made a couple of days in advance. This should bring down your stress level. As far as the treats go there will be sales on candy from the middle of Sept to the end of Oct. Match these sales up with coupons and you could get the item for free or next to nothing, keep an eye out.

Drinks: I CAN’T STRESS THIS ENOUGH! If your guests want alcohol what I typically do is have the guest bring their own. You always need to be careful when there is alcohol at your party. You could be liable if anything happens once your guests leave your party. I make it perfectly clear to all of my guests that consume alcohol that their keys will be taken as soon as they walk in my door. My friends appreciate the fact I care enough about them to make sure nothing happens to them or anyone else on the road. Of course you can have a dry party that’s always fun too.

Music: You have to arrange for some music that will fill the air. Music at a party should cover all genres, especially if the party is mixed with children, teens and adults.

Games/invitations: Invitations should be sent a month in advance. The games should be put in place 2 weeks before the party. A couple of things that come to mind are a pinata for the kids and a trivia game based on horror movies and Halloween.

Tricks/story telling: Halloween is a season of “treats and trick” and maybe some magic for the kids and lots of ghost stories. What I have done in the past is to hire a few teenagers from our local youth employment who are interested in children and babysitting. I interviewed them well in advance of the party and explained to them they are strictly there to keep the children occupied with tricks, magic and story telling, in an appropriate costume. Of course this is out of the norm for them so I make it worth their while. It’s also good networking for the teens. The parents will get to see how a particular teen interacts with children and get possible babysitting work.
